We arrived at the cabin under the cover of darkness so I wasn’t able to scout the terrain. I woke up the next morning drank some coffee, ate a bagel sandwich, pet the dogs, breathed the fresh air, etc. You get the picture, I wasn’t up before sunrise getting set for this beautiful image. Before you pass judgement and revoke my photography license, I have an excuse. I didn’t know that this view was right over the hill. Had I known, I doubt I would have been able to sleep. No way was I going to miss the early morning rays kissing the tops of snow covered peaks reflecting in a mountain lake!
Ah well, the coffee was good and relaxing was nice. Next time….next time….
