I’m going to go ahead and classify this image as ‘forward-recon’. I have been meaning to get down to the Gates Rubber facility knowing that it would offer some interesting subject matter. The traffic and weather weren’t very cooperative tonight, so I am planning on another trip. It will be either earlier in the morning, or later in the year. The sun needs to venture a bit further into the northern hemisphere for my vision. Until then, here is a preview from the scouting mission. Hopefully I can make it back before it is cleaned up…..I think I have plenty of time.

Wonderful hdr image! The grafitti and urban decay set against that sky just pops off the page at you…very well done.
I just got the imac set up tonight. Got Lightroom downloaded. Still figuring out how to get my LR catalog over so I can access all my images on the drobo with their edits intact. Any pointers?
Suspect I will just do a straight ethernet connect between the two.
I live and breathe in Lightroom – and I love the seamless intergration with Nik, One-on One and PS. I don’t think I will be switching to Apeture any time soon unless something changes.
I’ll keep you posted, take care. Jeff
Jeff, I think USB 2.0 or Firewire 800 is the way to go. I connect my Drobo to my macbook pro via USB 2.0 and it is pretty good. I just have my main Aperture library on my Drobo and choose it when I am connected to it. (That might not be the answer to your question. If not, just shoot me an email and we can has it out.)
I started with Aperture, but then was a bit envious of Lightroom…however, now that I have aperture 3 running….the envy is gone. It is a very cool product if you are a card carrying member of the MACeverse!
