After an arduous day of car shopping, we decided to take a quick break from wheelin’ and dealin’….I don’t think the sales guy wanted us to leave, but my wife made it pretty clear we were going to. Just down the road, we found this great old silo. It towered above the suburban sprawl that surrounded it. You felt he had stories to tell. Hopefully, I was able to help him tell it.
In the video below, we grant the Tin Man’s wish and give him a heart using Photomatix and NIK Define 2.0, Color EFX Pro, and Viveza 2.

Great video Justin, thanks for posting it. Just found you’re site today. I was noticing the little float menu that’s on the left side of your screen, it looks like a NIK specific app launcher of some kind…is this something that comes with the suite? Just wondering, I have Silver Efex and love it, but that’s the only one I have so far. Thanks again for the great information!
I think you are referring to the Filter Pallet? I believe that is what it is called, maybe I just call it that? Yep, it comes with the Nik products if you are using them as Photoshop plugins. If that’s not what you are talking about, or have any other questions, feel free to drop me a line.
p.s. I dig your photos.
Another great shot – I recognize this place having grown up in Westminster and spending time in Broomfield. I have found your site to be very inspiring – thanks for taking the time to share and explain the planning and work that goes into your photographs.
So sweat. I am glad you like it and I hope it helps you make the best images you can.
