If you missed it, I tweeted (yep, you can follow me on twitter) images from the evening photo-walk as I shot and processed them on location from my iPhone. I had so much fun I might leave my D300 at home next time. That might be a bit of an exaggeration, the high ISO capabilities of the iPhone are a bit limited. However, all these images were captured, edited, and shared as I made them. The app I was using to do this is one developed in tandem with Chase Jarvis and is appropriately titled, ‘The Best Camera (is the one you have with you)’. If you have an iPhone, and would like to give it a run, you can buy it by clicking the link below. I am pretty sure it is the best $2.99 you will ever spend on photo gear!

No doubt the iphone is a great little device to capture some creative images. I couldn’t hardly get by with out mine now.
Remember, you are only limited by your imagination not your gear!
Well said Jeff! A photographer friend of mine suggested that all photogs, as a right of passage, should be required to shoot a Leica M6 (a roll a day) for an entire year. If you have that kind of money, I say go for it, if not, I say spend $2.99 on TheBestCamera and do the same thing. It is an incredible tool for exercising your creative muse.
You should post some iPhone photos. I would love to see the street photography from Honduras.
p.s. I moved this comment to where I thought you wanted it. I left the other one intact.
hi justin i guess i should just junk my HTC HD2 and go for an iPhone huh?? =) nice utility .. pity they aint got one for WMobile. =(
Great to hear from you Malcolm! I wouldn’t go that far….I was transitioning from a POS Samsung, and had the opportunity to go with the iPhone and fully commit to the Maciverse I am living in. It is an amazing platform! I will have it in France this year hoping to offer an iPhone perspective to the Tour de France. I am really looking forward to it. I am still considering packing a D5000 and small tripod on my ride up the Tourmalet!
