In today’s litigious society it makes sense to post a sign to save us from ourselves. However, even if I was (were?) a smoker, I’m pretty sure a reminder not to smoke around oil and gas holding tanks might be a bit much. We should consult legal counsel on this. Rick, any thoughts?

It seems obvious, until you see folks smoking at a gas station. :-D
I had forgot about those folks Frank. I guess we do need the sign.
Sadly enough, the knuckle heads often times need protection from themselves. On the other side of the coin… I would not want to be out there taking pictures here when one of these Darwin nominees comes strolling up while lighting a cigarette. I can hear is now, “I dudn’t see no sign that dun said no smokin. Sorry bout those 3rd degree burns mister.” Then what happens is the smoker sues the property owner for the emotional distress he incurred over causing you the burn because there was no sign telling him not to smoke.
Reminds me of that scene from Zoolander when they are all spraying each other with gas when one of them flicks his cigarette…
By the way, nice pic!
