When I first starting using the Nikon 45mm PC-E, the doors of creativity were first shrunk, then busted wide open! I really couldn’t get enough of the creative possibilities that this lens had to offer. Not only are you able to control the depth of field, you can actually control where the plane of focus is within your composition. I hope you are enjoying this lens as much as I am, if not, please bear with me as I wean myself off of it….hang in there, it shouldn’t be too long.

Great one Justin.
Nice! Love this one. Sometime you should take the same image with your tilt-shift and another lens and show the difference. Process them the same and highlight the differences – that is something that would be helpful to me.
Keep them coming!
Great idea Scott! Will do when I get back.
Very nice -
One quick question – have you tried the lens baby? Does it create a similar look?
Howdy Frank. Good question. I haven’t, but the tilt functionality of the PC-E lens would be very similar to the Lensbaby. However, the Lensbaby doesn’t offer anything in the way of a Perspective correction shift. Hope that helps. Sorry for the delay.
