I’m by no means a morning person. I am an ’8am-coffee-robe’ person. I have realized though that by not being a morning person, and still getting up before dawn to make images like this, I must either really love photography, sunrises, or both. Yep, sunrises are a test of what activities are inline with my inner spirit. If I can get up early to do something, I must really love it. How about you? Is it easy for you to get up for a sunrise?

Always has been easy for me to get up, but it wasn’t until I started down the photography road that I really experienced sunrises, and sunsets for that matter. Great image Justin!
Thanks Jim. Yep, photography (art in general) makes you hyper aware of your surroundings. Especially dimensional light!
I love sunrises… but I only have to walk out on my deck to shoot them! Sunsets, on the other hand, are not visible from my location — Mountains block them, and it requires a 30 minute drive to get to the West side.
