Good Morning Vancouver!

Good Morning Vancouver

Waking up to a sunrise is cool, but waking up to a sunrise in Vancouver is over the top. The city seems as though it is made of clean reflective glass that shines the sun back on the mountains that surround it. You know, if the sunrises are good, the sunsets are going to be just as cool. Later on that night I found they were.

If you are ever headed to Vancouver, I posted a quick travel guide that includes places to go, things to do, and an interactive photo-map. You can find it here.

  1. Great shot. How did you capture it, on the sea bus?

    • Howdy Averi! I shot this from the balcony of our cruise ship that was pulling into port. We were on a ship coming from Alaska.

Thanks for the comment, I’m glad you like the image!

      • I am originally from Vancouver so I know how magical it is when the sunset lights bounce off those windows in this downtown area. If you had the time you would been like a kid in a candy shop taking photos all around where this shot was taken

  2. I love this image. You have just the right touch with post-processing. Vancouver is a terrific city, and I think you’ve captured its spirit in this photograph.

  3. Really fantastic shot. Love the treatment

  4. Love the shot, Justin! The building detail is really nice! It was nice of the cruise ship captain to pull in during golden hour ;)

  5. Great shot…loved the muted colors and composition.
