All Along The UFO Watchtower

UFO Watch Tower Colorado

No kidding, this is a fully functional UFO watchtower in Southern Colorado. The lady who runs it is a retired cattle rancher who didn’t want to leave the Saguache Valley. Some might get and RV to tour the country, others might lease their land, well she opened up a UFO watchtower. For 5 bucks a car load you can pull up a seat, listen to stories, and watch for all the UFOs you want. She actually has 57 documented sightings in her guest book. If you are interested, you can read more on the UFO Watchtower website here.

Processing Notes:

Photographer’s Note: I had a great time with this image. It was just fun to process. I ended up going with a ‘Totooine’ feel because it was so otherworldly. To achieve this look I used a warming filter at 99% density along with a red filter at 25% density. I also used Topaz Labs Denoise 5 at its absolute strongest setting to soften some of the features. Anyway, it was a fun one to shoot and process.
