My trusty 3Gs finally gave up the ghost. Well, the speaker did anyway. It was replaced by the 4, but not the one you can talk to. I’m kind of glad about that. There is a good chance I would have spent the entire weekend asking Siri silly questions. Anyway, here the first photo from my silent companion.

A Field Trip For My Colorado Friends
I’m going to be running a iPhone Photography field trip on Feb 4th from 2 to 4pm starting at the Denver Public Library. Come learn how to turn your iPhone into a loyal creative companion in this fun two to three hour field trip.
The class is normally $119.00, but if you use the code MYPHONE you can get it for 1/2 off.

Fitness Challenge Update
Although I’m 1/2lb heavier than last week, I’m still Mr. Consistent when it comes to getting my work in. I have been focusing quite a bit more on Yoga. I hope it will not only improve my general core strength and balance, it will help to prevent injury as I approach the May. To combat my weight, I’m sticking to a pretty regimented diet…at least durning the week.
Morning – Oatmeal, Grapefruit, or Yogurt and coffee. Multi Vitamin, Fiber, Glucosamine Conjointin, Vit D.
10 am – Banana or some fruit and possibly a bar to get me ready for a lunch workout.
Post Workout Lunch – Veggie burrito from Chipotle (although, I’m considering changing this up??)
4ish – Walnuts or some light snack.
Dinner – Nothing regimented yet, but I try to avoid Mexican food, pizza, etc…. Generally, just something sensible.
LOTS and LOTS of water!
Then the battle begins to stave of my incessant desire to eat bowl after bowl of cereal right before bed. It is a nasty hard fought battle that I sometimes lose…but most of the time I win.
On Friday mornings however, maybe by the time you are reading this, I let myself eat a cinnamon roll from my favorite bakery.
Looking forward to hear how you all are doing!

Those Chipotle Burritos are killers to the diet for me. Way too many calories in those wonderful tortillas. I think I need to invest some more effort into Yoga. Flexibility and core are things I need to work on. I know I need to loose 40 more by Memorial Day so that’s my goal for now. I’m still working on my workout regiment, but I know some type of cardio 5-6 days a week is a must to keep the winter weight gain from hitting.
Can’t wait to see more images from the iPhone 4.
sweet iPhone shot! sorry I can’t just pop over to Denver and join ya! I love the bowls at Chipotle – no tortilla, just all the goodness in a bowl so it keeps some that of junk out of mind! yoga is my fave, and after reading this I realize I need to do more of it!
Another great shot Justin. I wish I was in Colorado (or at least close by) to join you on one of your field trips or photo walks. Fitness Challenge going well…sort of…I ate far too much over the holidays. Was away for a few days skiing and its back to the gym tomorrow.
Fitness challenge is going well. My weight is remaining steady, but I believe I’m losing percent body fat–yay. I’ve been steadily increasing the number of minutes of cardio that I’ve been doing each week. I’m up to 50 minutes 3 times a week. I’m also following that up with various forms of strength training. I don’t eat horribly, I just need to keep my portion control in check. If I can succeed at that and maintain my workout regimen, I’ll be in good shape to meet my goals.
I did get out on my road bike for a quick ride. Hope the weather lets me do that again soon.
