Alaska – Part II

Denali National Park

In yesterday’s post, I mentioned Alaska is wild. On top of being wild, Alaska is big! It’s big in a very objective way. It claims one of the largest mountains in the world as its own. It’s also big in a very subjective way. There is a scale to Alaska that is hard to describe. Maybe a better word would be vast. However, when I think of vast I tend of think of the ocean or rolling hills. Alaska’s vastness is similar, but its spaces are filled with massive mountains and rivers. Much like this image I shot of Denali National Park. It’s different up there…you almost need another sense to understand it.
