Alaska – Part IV

The Road to Denali

I hope you have enjoyed this week’s look at Alaska. I really want to thank our Facebook fans who voted on it. If you would like to be involved in future votes, just ‘like’ our page.

This image is of the glacier that leads to Denali. I was close to 18,000ft, in the copilot seat of an ‘Otter’, when I shot it. You can read more about the flight here. It is an amazing flight, and if you are ever in Talkeetna, make sure you do it. A two hour flight around Denali, accompanied with a glacial landing, is about as much as it is to fly roundtrip from Denver to California, but it’s way cooler!
