A couple weeks back some good friends of ours opened up their second wine bar in Golden, CO. They have wine, food and ambiance dialed in. I would definitely recommend a visit. We were at the grand opening, and I also happened to have my camera. If you want to see it in person, you can make your reservations here.
Photographer’s Note
I don’t know if you pay much attention to the gear I use to make images with. If you do, you might have noticed I am shooting more and more with the Nikon 24-70 AFS 2.8. It is a great lens, and has become a real workhorse for me. I should probably write up a full review of it. I just thought I would share this tidbit since I have about 6 months with it now.

Looks like a nice place! Cool!
I’m with you on the 24-70mm f/2.8. It’s on my D700 about 70% of the time and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It’s fast and very, very sharp. If I had to complain it would be on price (but you expect a fabulous lens like this to cost serious money) and weight.
Yep..it does cost a lot and it’s pretty heavy…but other than that, it’s awesome!
