Howdy, I hope everyone had a great weekend. As you might know, I was on the road last week cruising around in the Nevada desert. Definitely not your typical road trip destination. However, the regular readers here know that I am a big fan of Americana, the forgotten west, and interesting characters….of which there is plenty in Nevada. I will share those stories and sights in due time, but what I wanted to do this week was share a little experiment I conducted while I was on the road. I won’t say what it is right away, but as the week progresses, I’d be curious to see if you can figure it out. Here is the first image from the experiment. It’s a photo of the old court house in Salt Lake City. I believe it’s a bank now? If you are from SLC feel free to chime in and correct me. See you back here tomorrow with some more clues.
Photographer’s Note This is a single image processed using Nik’s Silver Efex Pro II right out of Lightroom 4. No need for Photoshop CS6 in this one.
