Typology of Cozumel Scooters #30

Well, we have finally reached the end of the project. 30 scooters in 30 days! I hope that you enjoyed it. I really hope you gained a little insight into a place you might have never visited. Or, maybe it was just a fun month of seeing how different people modified their machines to best meet their needs. Either way I hope you enjoyed the ride (pun intended). Thanks for tagging along!

If you are interested, I made all the images with a Fuji X-E1 and 35mm 1.4 (50 equivalent on a cropped sensor). I decided on that setup because it was both inconspicuous as well as providing a focal length that is similar to our own sight. I was after a familiar aesthetic and focal length with an aperture large enough to set the subject apart from the background. I’m calling it my research kit. Once I reveal the other research I have conducted, you will find a lot more typologies to sink your imagination into. I’ll let you know more about it soon!
